Dr. Karan Ghatora is an experienced general practitioner (GP) with expertise in general internal medicine, lifestyle medicine, and aviation and space medicine. He is dedicated to providing a patient-centered approach with a focus on preventative care.
Dr. Ghatora graduated from Birmingham University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB). He trained in General Internal Medicine, gaining experience in specialties like respiratory, cardiology, and endocrinology, before qualifying as a GP. He is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). He also holds Diplomas in Aviation Medicine (2020) and Lifestyle Medicine (2021).
Dr. Ghatora has worked as a GP in the UK and abroad, including New Zealand and on charitable projects in Nepal. He also works as an Aviation and Space Medicine Registrar with the UK Civil Aviation Authority. His diverse career reflects his passion for preventative and proactive healthcare, ensuring patients receive holistic, evidence-based care.
Dr. Ghatora is skilled in general practice, internal medicine, and lifestyle medicine. He advocates for a proactive approach to health and wellbeing, tailoring care to individual needs.
He is a member of the General Medical Council, the Royal College of Physicians, and the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Ghatora enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors with his wife and son.
