Our Practitioners
Dr. Ani Pal is an experienced general practitioner (GP) with a specialist interest in cardiology and echocardiography. He is driven by and dedicated to providing early access to diagnostics and comprehensive care with a focus on patient education and lifestyle management.
Dr. Pal earned his medical degree from St. George’s Medical School where he graduated having won a number of academic prizes. Prior to this, he had attended McGill University in Montreal where he studied Biochemistry.
He completed his post graduate training in Nottingham and Oxford, before joining the GP vocational training scheme in Frimley. He has now completed intensive postgraduate training in both cardiology and echocardiography, and is certified in performing transthoracic echocardiography (TTE).
Currently, Dr. Pal works as a community cardiologist in both NHS and private cardiology clinics across Surrey & Hampshire. He works closely with teams dedicated to providing high-quality cardiology services in the community. He also works as a part-time salaried GP in the NHS and is one of the NHS’s Clinical Entrepreneurs.
Dr. Pal is experienced in all aspects of general practice and providing an efficient patient-centered service. He specialises in echocardiography and cardiology. He has a keen interest in educating patients on heart disease and healthy living.
He still works as a GP in the NHS and his spare time is focused on assessing and employing technology in the NHS to assist GPs in their difficult and pressured job.
He is a member of the European Society of Cardiology, the British Society of Echocardiography, the Independent Doctor’s Federtation, the British Medical Association and of the General Medical Council.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Pal enjoys going to the gym when he can and making espresso in the mornings. His family keep him busy on his days off.
